" Okay, I admit I went in expecting a lot due to the hype, and I was mostly satisfied! The punugulu and mirchi bajji were crispy, very close to what we get back home. The biryani, however, was slightly too spicy for my taste, but flavorful nonetheless. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and I appreciated their willingness to customize my order. " Visited Sowjis last weekend with some friends and we loved it! Everything from the irani chai to the chicken biryani had such wonderful flavors. I especially enjoyed the crispy mirchi bajji as a starter. They have a good portion size for the price. While the seating could be better, it's a great spot for takeout or casual dining.
